The gift of God is accessible to all who believe, not limited to those in ministry. It is bestowed upon every believer by the Holy Spirit for the benefit of others, as He sees fit. There are three primary types of inspired speech: prophecy, speaking in tongues, and interpreting tongues. Prophecy is a special gift where the Holy Spirit inspires speech for the spiritual growth, guidance, and edification of the church. A genuine prophet conveys words of warning, instruction, and correction as guided by the Spirit of God.

Moreover, the gift of speaking in tongues has not ceased, as the Bible does not indicate its cessation. Instead, it teaches that if there is no interpreter, prophecy should take precedence. Speaking in tongues plays a significant role in spiritual development. These gifts are distributed by the Holy Spirit to each individual according to His plan and purpose, enabling believers to receive guidance, warnings, and support in their spiritual journey. If these divine gifts are received and utilized properly, they will enrich our spiritual lives, making them stronger, more resilient, and blessed.
