Privacy Policy

We collect information only when you choose to give it to us: by sending a message, subscribing to the newsletter, or downloading a free ebook. We do not use analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies of any kind, and we do not sell or rent your information to anyone.

Contact form. Your name, email address, and message. We store it so we can read and reply, and we email a copy to the church inbox.

Newsletter signup. Your email address. We store it and add it to our mailing list so we can send you church updates.

Free ebook downloads. Your name, email address, which book you downloaded, and when. The download is provided in exchange for these details.

Browsing the site otherwise requires nothing from you. There is no account to create and no form you have to fill in to read, watch, or listen.

This site sets no advertising or analytics cookies. The only cookies it uses are sign-in cookies for church staff logging into the private admin area. If you are not a staff member signing in, no cookies are set by us.

We use a small number of service providers to run the site. Each one only receives what it needs to do its job.

• Supabase hosts our database and media files, so anything you submit through a form is stored there. Their servers for this site are located in South Korea, which means your information is stored outside the United States.
• Brevo sends our email. Contact form messages pass through it on the way to us, and newsletter subscribers are stored on their mailing list.
• NameHero hosts the website itself and keeps standard server logs, which include visitors' IP addresses.
• YouTube serves our sermon videos. Video players load only after you press play; until then, YouTube receives nothing about you beyond the thumbnail image request. Once you press play, YouTube receives your request directly and its own privacy policy applies.
• bible-api.com provides passages on our Bible page. When you look up a passage, that request goes from your browser to them and includes your IP address.
• the Joshua Project provides the prayer map near the foot of our home page, and their map tiles come from MapTiler. The map loads only after you press “Load the map”; until then neither of them receives anything about you. Once you load it, your requests go to them directly and include your IP address, under their own privacy policies.
• Google Maps shows where the church is, on our contact page. The map loads only after you press “Show the map”; until then Google receives nothing about you. Once you load it, Google receives your request directly and sets its own cookies, under its privacy policy.

We keep contact messages, newsletter subscriptions, and ebook download records for as long as they are useful to the ministry, and we delete them on request. Every newsletter we send includes an unsubscribe link.

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask for a correction, ask us to delete it, or unsubscribe at any time. Email contact@spiritoflifeministries.co and we will take care of it. You do not need to give a reason.

This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has sent us their details, email us and we will remove them.

If our practices change, we will update this page and change the date at the top. Substantial changes will be mentioned in the newsletter.
