A spiritual gift does not replace spiritual character. Stay close to Jesus, walk in repentance, and let the fruit of your life reveal the work of the Holy Spirit within you.

Title : Can the Calling Be Revoked?
Watch Sermon : Watch Now
What happens when someone who has been called by God falls into sin or failure? Does failure cancel God’s calling, or is there a path toward repentance and restoration? These questions challenge us to look beyond outward gifts and experiences and examine the condition of our hearts.
In this powerful message, Brother Caleb Khaling explores the biblical relationship between God’s calling, spiritual gifts, the fruit of the Holy Spirit, and our relationship with Christ. The message reminds us that spiritual gifts and calling should never become substitutes for a life that walks closely with Jesus.
God’s calling and gifts are not something we should treat casually. At the same time, receiving a gift does not automatically mean that our character is mature. Scripture calls us to examine our lives and remain faithful to the One who called us.
The fruit matters more than the gift. Matthew 7:21-23 reminds us that powerful spiritual experiences and works are not the ultimate measure of a person’s relationship with God. Galatians 5 points us toward the fruit of the Spirit, showing that character reveals the work of the Holy Spirit within us.
Failure is not the end of the story. Genuine repentance opens the way toward spiritual restoration. Instead of hiding behind our gifts or past experiences, we are called to return to God, allow His Word to correct us, and pursue a transformed life.
Discernment must be rooted in character. Spiritual leaders should not be evaluated simply by miracles, gifts, or impressive experiences. Their character, conduct, and spiritual fruit reveal much more about the authenticity of their walk with God.
Our greatest priority is daily fellowship with Jesus. The foundation of spiritual life is not a gift, a title, or a ministry position, but an ongoing relationship with Christ.
