Colossians 3:16 challenges us to let the Word of Christ “dwell in us richly.” This is more than reading or memorizing Scripture, it is allowing God’s Word to take deep root and guide our daily thoughts and actions.
Pastor Caleb highlights how Jesus overcame every temptation in the wilderness simply by declaring: “It is written.”
Our victory also comes from standing firmly on God’s Word.
Logos & Rhema: The Two Dimensions of God’s Word
Logos, the written Word of God, the Bible, our solid foundation.
Rhema, the living, timely Word the Holy Spirit brings alive in our specific situation.
Rhema becomes powerful only when it grows from Logos stored in our hearts.
Letting the Word Fill Your Life
Read Scripture consistently.
Meditate on it through the day.
Memorize key verses.
Ask the Holy Spirit to make the Word come alive.
When the Word fills your heart, it becomes strength, wisdom, and victory for every season.
A life filled with the Word of Christ is a life filled with His power.
