Faith, What Are You Listening to Today?

Faith is not something we force or create by our own effort. It is born when we choose to listen to the Word of God. What you listen to today will shape what you believe tomorrow—because God’s Word produces faith, drives out fear, and transforms lives when it is heard and received.

Faith does not come from human effort, positive thinking, or emotions. The Bible clearly teaches that faith is produced by hearing the Word of God. As Romans 10:17 says, “Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” What we choose to listen to every day shapes our spiritual life either strengthening our faith or giving room to fear.

Faith is not something we manufacture on our own. It is something God forms within us as we listen to His Word. Throughout Scripture, we see that salvation, healing, and life transformation all begin when people hear God’s Word and receive it with faith.

The Bible teaches that salvation is received by faith, and that faith comes through hearing the message of Christ (Ephesians 2:8; Romans 10:8–10). Biblical examples confirm this truth. In Acts 10 and Acts 14, people experienced salvation and healing simply by hearing the Word and believing it.

This message challenges us to reflect on an important question: What are we listening to today? What we allow into our ears and hearts matters deeply. God’s Word produces faith, hope, and confidence in Him, while fear weakens trust.

God desires that we experience His love personally, and that journey begins by continually hearing His Word. Guard your ears and your heart. Stay connected daily to Scripture and godly teaching. As you listen with faith, God will work within you faith will grow, fear will decrease, and His promises will become real in your life.
