🌊 Introduction
God calls every believer to live a life that overflows—a life completely immersed in the presence and power of the Holy Spirit.
In Ezekiel 47:1–5 and John 7:37–38, we see that God’s desire is not for us to stay ankle-deep but to go deeper until we are fully submerged in His living waters.
As the river flows from God’s temple, it grows stronger and deeper, symbolizing the believer’s spiritual journey—from shallow beginnings to full surrender, where God’s Spirit completely leads, empowers, and overflows through us.

💬 Main Message
1️⃣ Ankle-Deep — The Beginning of the Journey
“As the man went eastward with a measuring line in his hand, he measured off a thousand cubits and then led me through water that was ankle-deep.” (Ezekiel 47:3)
This represents the first touch of the Spirit—where we start to sense God’s presence and experience His grace for the first time.
2️⃣ Knee-Deep — The Stage of Surrender
At this depth, we learn to submit our will and follow God’s direction. Our prayers deepen, and we begin to yield our plans and desires to Him.
3️⃣ Waist-Deep — Growing in Faith
Here, we are more immersed in the Holy Spirit, yet still try to keep some control ourselves. God invites us to trust Him completely and stop resisting His leading.
4️⃣ Fully Submerged — Total Dependence
“It was a river that I could not cross, because the water had risen and was deep enough to swim in—a river that no one could cross on foot.” (Ezekiel 47:5)
This is the stage of total surrender—where we are carried entirely by the current of the Holy Spirit. It’s no longer about our effort, but His power flowing through us.

This vision paints a powerful picture of our spiritual growth—from a shallow experience of faith to being fully submerged in God’s Spirit.
As Jesus said:
“Whoever believes in Me, as Scripture has said, rivers of living water will flow from within them.” (John 7:38)
God’s desire is that every believer would be filled to overflowing, becoming a channel of His life to others.
