Our bodies are the temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19). He not only dwells with us but also within us. In the Old Testament, the Holy Spirit was with specific individuals—prophets, kings, and priests. However, in the New Testament and this age of grace, He dwells within every believer in Christ. The Holy Spirit is a living person who speaks and guides us. Have you heard His voice? He is our perfect teacher and counselor, providing knowledge, wisdom, and guidance to live as faithful parents, children, pastors, leaders, and servants in the church according to God’s Word.
The Holy Spirit helps us discern the good, acceptable, and perfect will of God. Without Him, it is impossible to live a life of biblical faith. Romans 8:14 says, “For those who are led by the Spirit of God are the children of God.” Is your life led by the Holy Spirit? Reflect deeply on this! Every servant of God must listen to His voice and serve according to His will. Though His plans may differ from ours, they always glorify God. We must accept His work and respect those anointed with special gifts. As Matthew 10:41 reminds us, “Whoever receives a prophet in the name of a prophet will receive a prophet’s reward.”
